At some point in our lives we all encounter difficult events and troubling times. These can have an impact on our everyday lives and relationships. Although people seek counselling for a variety of reasons, it is always with the hope that they can find direction to overcome difficulties. Talking to someone who will listen non-judgementally in a safe and confidential environment can help find clarity and make the changes needed to resolve challenging issues to get our lives back on track.
Working with adults, young people and children at the Elysia Centre in Stourbridge, counselling can help with difficulties such as:
• all types of anxiety and stress including OCD, phobias and PTSD
• family issues
• bereavement and loss
• sexuality and relationships
• trauma and self-defeating behaviours such as self-harm, sexuality and relationships
• any other issues that arise which affect people during their lives.
Counselling is a good way of discovering what issues might be affecting you and I can assist you to move forwards finding your own direction.
